LIMITED HANDMADE SHOHIN POTS
The new 2025 collection inspired by the colors of my land, the plants and flowers that grow in it. They are almost all shohin bonsai pots, shitakusa and kusamono pots. They were a type of pots which i had not given the right importance, focusing instead on large pots, so i decided to select my best ceramic glazes to give the earth tones that are familiar to me.
NEW "JIZO" SCULPTURE
LIMITED SCULPTURE & POTS
For this new collection i decided to create the new sculpture inspired by the Jizo, a charming Japanese mythological figure. Some of these are adapted to be used as shitakusa pots.
BONSAI POTS
All my pots are made from a frost proof high-fired stoneware clay. I also use a range of metal oxide washes on unglazed surfaces to emphasise certain areas of the pot.I use also the technique of Te-bineri (free hand) and Tataara (clay plates) to make my creation. A large variety of glazes and clay bodies with classic design are available now.
CHAWAN
Handmade chawan created with the clay of my land, Pompeii, at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Cooking at 1300 degrees makes it a refractory stoneware. The ash created these effects similar to a bloom. (Every creation I create on this shop is handcrafted in every single phase of the process) Made in Italy and signed by Tiberio Gracco.
